A Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) is an College Athletic Conference which competes in the NCAA's Division Troika. When a title implies, member teams come in the state of Minnesota.

Member teams compete around football, soccer, cross country, golf, volleyball, basketball, ice hockey, wrestling, track and field, swimming and diving, Nordic skiing, baseball, tennis and softball.
History
In March 15, 1920, a formal constitution was adopted & a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference was born, using Carleton College, Gustavus Adolphus College, Hamline University, Macalester College, St. John's University, St. Olaf College & a University of St. Thomas.
Concordia College-Moorhead joined a MIAC inside 1921, Augsburg College in 1924 and St. Mary's University around 1926. Carleton dropped membership inside 1925, rejoining in 1983. St. Olaf left inside 1950, returning within 1975. University of Minnesota Duluth was a member was 1951 to 1975. Bethel University joined around 1977.
A MIAC initiated women's competition within 1982, and it was at that period that a College of St. Benedict & a College of St. Catherine joined a league. Macalester began competeing as an independent around football inside 2002. St. Mary's dropped football in the mid Fifties.
